We are pleased to announce that the current artist in residence is the London based street artist Malarky who many would have recognised from his numerous street work around Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Hoxton. Malarky jumps between London and Barcelona brightening up the streets with his vibrant neon colour illustrations bringing a clear European influence to his work. Recently Malarky has been busy working on updating his largest London street commission on Redchurch St behind the Rich Mix Media building while making several works in the studio for private collections.

MALARKY IN RESIDENCE – VIDEO

The Residency Programme at Tony’s offers artists the opportunity to have a studio for up to six months. Residents will use this to develop their careers, carry out research and make new work. At the end of the residency the gallery will host a solo exhibition and show new works and developments by the artist. Residents receive support from the gallery team and its network to develop new ideas, projects and realise new possibilities.

The gallery organises studios visits for interested collectors and press to view new works available and make interviews. Most recent interviews for Malarky were the converse and footlocker promo film shot at Tony’s Studio space.
To arrange a studio visit or press meeting with Malarky please contact: info@tonysgallery.com
